30m floating Multimedia Fountain System
As a main
attraction at the Chiang Mai Night Safari Park, Laserland installed a 30 x 6m large multimedia musical fountain that floats on a lake. The fountain is
equipped with more than 1,200 water jets to create a variety of water effects
in time to music. In addition, a water screen is built into the fea-ture,
providing a 40-metre wide and 15-metre high projection area for video, light
and laser projections. For the opening show, marking the 60th anniversary of
the king’s coronation, a special programme was devised and presented to the
public. A musical fountain and multimedia show including video, lights and
lasers were staged to music composed by the king himself.
On 15 June 2006 the installation and show was personally inaugurated by Prime
Minister Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra. He congratulated the managing directors,
Helmut Dörner and Ralph Douw, on their excellent work.
The feature runs every day and is fully service by Laserland. Since it opened,
the musical fountain, with its multimedia show, has become another real magnet
to visitors in what is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful night safari parks

By 1st October 2006, a new, captivating show consisting of water fountains,
video projections, lights, lasers and music was completed and implemented by
Laserland. It can be admired every evening at the Night Safari Park.
