The show: An amazing experience both in the theater and on deck
The ships feature, on the pooldeck and in the theater, individual setup of the modular laser system. Laserland/EMF have adapted an entertainment system to the requirements of the ship, realized and installed it. Four laser projectors are installed on deck with six in the theater ensuring impressive show events. The theater is fitted with a HoloPort®. This is the first time ever that this technology has been used inside a theater…and what's more, that theater just happens to be on board a ship!On deck, the DJs have a range of synchronized shows at their fingertips. The shows can be varied to suit the music and have a very individual touch. Each DJ is able to enhance their set with a range of different effects using the live system control facility.
The theater offers seating for an 800-strong audience and before the gala shows the laser system displays not only the exact route that the ship is taking, but also introduces the atmosphere of each destination. Specially produced musical scores that draw on the well-known characteristics of each destination contribute to the emotion of the experience.
The HoloPort® makes it possible to create 3-dimensional stage sets in which the artistes are able to move freely, and which offers a fascinating and unique experience.
The handling: Simple, flexible and reliable!
When planning the laser system, the requirements of the user were taken into account and not just the physical and technical considerations of the ship. Above all, as a result of the fact that the staff on board the ships are continuously changing, the finished system needed to be simple to operate with no need for external training, and it also needed to be very reliable and low on maintenance. The entire system is fully-automated and is controlled by touch screen using a single screen on deck and in the theater.The technology: Automagic Laser System in conjunction with high-performance fiber-optic cable technology
The system is fed from a single central laser system: the extremely successful and well-known Laserland/EMF-Automagic Laser System®. This compact system is installed in one of the system rooms of the ship. The central computer used lives up to the highest industry standards and is one of the highest-performing computers in the multimedia laser technology world. A fiber-optic supply system distributes the laser light to the projectors at the show locations. Distances of up to 280 meters are covered which places the highest demands on the materials.The Automagic Mulitmedia System® is controlled either from a touch screen in the supply room or from touch screens at each of the show locations. The software for the show updates can be read in to the system at any time with very little effort using a CD ROM or even by satellite. The entire installation is certified to US standards and meets even the strictest of international safety standards in terms of ship-building and laser radiation protection.
