Paint and brushes are not the only tools that can be used to create a stunning façade. This is amply demonstrated by Laserland GmbH, Halfing. Laser technology which has been developed specially for projection purposes allows buildings and façades to be transformed into a playground for laser animations after nightfall. Anyone wanting to use a laser to illuminate a specific object within an architectural context will find the "Laser Multimedia Billboard System" the ideal medium. Until now, this has involved considerable technical exertion coupled with significant costs. The massive laser projectors required were hugely costly to install and run and also demanded expensive cooling systems. The new compact installations on the other hand rewuire no more than a regular 220-volt power supply. Not only that: the efficiency, design capabilities, lifetime and color fidelity have all been improved.

A cruise on the high seas now offers more than just a view of the horizon: the AIDAvita and AIDAaura club ships are treating their passengers to a surprise with imaginative and colorful laser shows. The ships are equipped a powerful laser system both on the pooldeck and in the theater. The entire entertainment system has been adapted by Laserland / Emotion Media Factory (EMF) to meet the special requirements of the ships. A total of four laser projectors are installed on the deck with another six in the theater ensuring an impressive show experience. The theater also features with a HoloPort. The Bavaria-based specialists for multimedia laser events have developed a new projection technology that copes with presentations in the largest of halls and can even be used outdoors. "HoloPort" technology is particularly suitable for implementing highly emotionally evocative effects.
